Maoam Kracher JogiFruits

If yogurt's for breakfast, and these candies are made with yogurt, then candy is for breakfast. If A=B and B=C then... this function writes itself, people.

My default reaction to any candy that’s milk or yogurt related is simple: “no.” I just don’t like it, ever. I don’t hate yogurt or milk, but the combination of fruit and dairy tends to make me think of being 7 years old, eating blueberry yogurt — and that ain’t candy, folks.

However, as we’ve come to understand in life, there’s an exception to every rule. And that happened with these Maoam Kracher JogiFruits:

Kracher Jogi Fruits candies

We’ve reviewed Krachers before, they’re outstanding. Ever so slightly crispy outside, a good solid chew inside revealing delicious flavors. What’s not to like?

These Jogi Fruits version are of course yogurt flavor combos. We have blueberry, cherry, and peach/passion fruit, which is a zany combination by the way. I don’t know what’s really different with these compared to the ones we know we do like, but the yogurt taste is definitely there. In fact, I don’t think the “experience” is all that different from other yogurt combo candies I don’t like…but these Maoam’s just work better.

Maybe it’s because they’re not a gummy? Maybe it’s because there’s so much going on with the candies consistency-wise? I dunno. What I do know is that these are really tasty.

I can say this: they’re way better (for me) eating alone, meaning not in a mix of other candies, which is my usual jam. When I mix them up, that initial yogurt hit just falls flat, yet the overall experience is good. When I eat these without other candies…that’s when they really shine.

Don‘t get me wrong, these Maoam Kracher JogiFruits aren’t suddenly my favorite candies, but I’m loving the fact that I’m enjoying something a lot that I thought I would hate.

Unfortunately they are extremely hard to find. As far as we can tell, these aren’t truly stateside yet. Still you can find these at the fine store called germandeli.com. Plus, find other Krachers here on Amazon.

I managed to find them and the taste is so good. I’m usually a sour sweets lover but these are pretty good. 6/10

I saw some Maoam Liquorice Kracher the other day, but wasn’t sure if you’d like them. Do you want me to grab a bag for you next time?
