Soda pop Jelly Bellys? Old school flavors like A&W Root Beer and Cream Soda?
Please. I’ll take 12.

Overall – good. I wish the bag was bigger. Here’s a rundown of the flavors.

Orange: Traiminic meets soda orange. I miss the fizz with this one. Flat orange soda isn’t very good and I’m feeling similar vibes with this bean. tastes really fake orange which I guess the soda does as well but without the fizz, what’s the point?

Root beer: keeper. underrated candy flavor as it is. Good root beer is fizzy but more creamy fuzz than seltzer fizz. These do root beer right

Dr pepper: taste a lot like Dr. Pepper. Can tell these right away. I’m a pepper so I like.

7-up: hmm…doesn’t taste like 7-up. i feel the lemon lime, sure. But 7-up is very unique. If I closed my eyes and you gave me this and asked me what it tasted like I’d never say “oh that’s the un-cola of course.”

Grape Crush: magnificent. but i love fake grape. these taste like grape soda minus the fizz. but who needs fizz with this taste? My only issue with these is they’re almost the exact same color as the root beer and dr pepper. Made it hard to be selective

Cream Soda: yummtastic. I like the cream soda like most jews so it had me at ‘go.’ I could have taken a little deeper flavor though.

The fun thing about these is that when you eat them together, 2 or 3 at a time with different flavors, you get definitely get the “suicide” flavor. At least that’s what we called it as kids at the local Round Table Pizza when we’d grab a large cup and fill it with a variety of sodas. And on the other hand, if you eat a few orange soda (for example) beans at a time, the flavor is much better than just one. Seemingly obvious but not with Jelly Belly’s IMHO since part of their charm is that the flavors are so good and clear with just one.

But I say go, buy, drink, eat, nostalge.

Yeah cola does seem like the obvious, huh. No idea why not. I love cola bears for example…

No Cola flavour? Is it a branding thing?
