Actually, no. Happy New Year doesn’t mean make your own gummies. It means “it’s a new year – for the love of peet, try and be happy.”
Yet, here we are in 2011 with a new vid where my kids and I make some of our own gummies, after the littlest ‘un got a kit for xmas. You get to watch all the grueling details below. And then we eat them on camera. And then I’ll rate them. This is damn compelling stuff. How do we not get paid to do this shit?!
In a nutshell:
– Good craft with the kiddies
– Taste is eh
– Don’t put the sour mix in with the candy when you’re cooking on the stove. Save for after, and use as a coating. That’s what the directions said. The ones I didn’t follow.
You can buy this online from the source and it’s not too expensive.
Ok in this video you look like Stu from hangover. =)
Lol. Looks like the people have spoken, Matty. Fire those incompetents!!
I just stopped fighting the nausea! The girls are delicious but the video camera operator needs some Valium, a tripod or some training. Maybe it was just the result of a hangover.
I know. I hear ya. This review couldn’t be less interesting.
Mental note: don’t let the kids do camera work.
I don’t know how I feel about this review. On one hand, good family fun…I mean, the kids are damn cute. On the other hand… I feel cheated in the sarcasm department.
The only thing that DIDN’T make me want to throw up during that was your cute kids. The camera work, the actual candy itself all gave me the murps.
But, um, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
