American Trolli Gets Put To The Test

We’ve established that Trolli varieties from Europe ROCK (thanks Susie!) with remarkable consistency. But are the selections they create for us Americanos truly as shitty as I’ve said/griped/complained about for years? Let’s find out… Not so much.

After just returning from the NCA Sweets & Snacks Expo, I can drop some new found knowledge on ya concerning European versions not being available in the U.S.

I spoke to the head of Haribo U.S. and apparently the only thing preventing us from enjoying euro-only gummies is that the FDA will not allow some of the flavors that the euro gummies use here in the states. LAME!

    Your kid is hilarious…

    “I like them cuz they’re kinda like worms and they’re sweet….and I give them a 10.”

Single best line in a review of gummi worms ever?

You know, I’m pretty sure Trolli US and Trolli Germany are not affiliated with each other. Trolli in the US is a trademarked brand of Farley and Sathers. Trolli in Germany in from Mederer. That could be the difference.
