I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY wanted to like the OG vampire bats but found the licorice flavour to overpower the whole darn thing. These sound like they’d be way more balanced out. I like me some real licorice flavour but I love me some sour. Sorry for typing out my speech impediment.

Hi Jonny. I am from the UK and remember loving these up to the mid 1980s when they disappeared without warning.
I ordered some online maybe 10-15 years ago from a Kosher store, including the sour variety.
Whilst they were good, they were a step down from the older version. I don’t know if anyone remembers the older version, but they were even further ! Also, they featured a peach one, and both a black grape one and a purple one which may have been blackcurrant. There was no mango or cherry and the strawberry was half as small again. The orange was textured on the outside and both the apple and peach had strong red speckling on one half. I don’t think they were as white on the inside either.
Just to say they are also known as ‘fruits de nice’ and sold in Belgium!

“Natural flavoring” is not a real ingredient. The raspberry fish have no reaberry, the elderflower fish have hot elderflower, and so on.
